Short term Stays

Short term stays allow seniors to experience what it is like to live in a senior specific community. It gives people the opportunity to try out our recreation schedule, and see how many people they already know at Normandy, allowing them a glimpse into what their life would look like if they made the decision to move permanently. Sometimes, short term stays allow individuals to have a safe place to recover after hospital procedures etc. While we do not do anything medical related, our community provides an accessible space, and supportive services that make recovery easier.

Trial stays

Trial stays are meant to be an opportunity for people to make the most of what Normandy Living has to offer and experience the benefits of Supportive Independent Living. You can try out a new lifestyle without committing to a full month stay.

Short Stays

Some residents may enjoy a short stay if their homes are being renovated, or they need somewhere where the maintenance is taken care of etcetera, especially during the winter months. Normandy Living may have the availability for short term stays that allow you a reprieve from every day living, offering a safe place to rest or retreat.

Reviews

  • as I live in Juneau, Alaska, moving to Normandy is not an option. I only have two words: spacious and art. The guest apartment is spacious. There is so much room and yet it is also cozy and inviting. There are also outdoor spaces, both private balconies and public patios. In the indoor public spaces, there is local art everywhere. I actually spent time walking the different floors to check out the art. Everything about my stay was pleasant, both the surroundings and the people. Highly recommended.
